Changelog

What changed, newest first. Tool changes follow the compatibility promise.

Wittle for Business

September 30, 2026

  • New owner connector at /business/mcp: requests, schedule, customers and settings from your own assistant.
  • Businesses can propose another time; customers accept or decline it with respond_to_proposal (sign-in required).
  • New booking status CANCELLED when a business cancels a visit.
  • Business details and search now describe each business's current booking rules.
  • Every tool now has a display title and explicit read-only, destructive and open-world hints.
  • Opening hours are exact on daylight-saving change days.

Reliability

September 30, 2026

  • Bookings whose result was uncertain are now checked automatically every 15 minutes and resolved by lookup.
  • Published the compatibility promise: tool changes are additive, checked on every release.

Friendlier answers for assistants

September 29, 2026

  • Confirming a booking that already succeeded returns that booking instead of a rate-limit error.
  • Business questions accept one choice sent as a string, any capitalization, and numbers sent as text.
  • prepare_booking accepts answers sent as a JSON-encoded object.
  • A request waiting for the business now says clearly that nothing more is needed.

Beyond heating and cooling (schema v2)

September 28, 2026

  • search_providers takes the customer's own words (need) and a ZIP; services are identified by service_id.
  • Plumbing added alongside heating and cooling; electrical and appliance repair ready as trades.
  • Each business sets its own rules: auto-confirm or review, notice, horizon, service area by ZIP or radius.
  • Businesses can ask customers their own questions before a visit.
  • Clear outcomes when no participating business covers a request, with a hand-back to the assistant.
  • Optional intent field on every tool.

Sign in only to book

September 28, 2026

  • Searching, business details and availability need no account; sign-in (email code or Google) starts at the first booking step.
  • Connector moved to scheduling.wittlelabs.ai; product, privacy and terms pages published.

Early access

September 27, 2026

  • First release: search, availability, two-step booking and status for heating and cooling businesses, with Google Calendar and signed-request integrations.
